Laser Dynamics is a division of Exact Group operating to promote the licensing of patented laser sensing technology. These patents cover Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) using Projection and Magnifying sensors.

This technology is often used in the context of "particle image velocimetry (PIV)".

The systems are unique and offer significant technical and commercial advantages to the industrial and scientific communities. The LDV sensors overcome many limitations of conventional fixed-beam, interference-type velocimetry systems. The advantages of these systems include:

• no focusing required;
